Nice job...i like the ending...because i was expecting the snap change but not the card...my hands are so dry...its harder for me to do card magic with my hands so dry

You're handling isn't quite polished but you were in the damn snow! I'm glad you kept in shots of you trying to warm your hands. I thought the overall composition was great to watch. I dug the hell out of it. Merry Christmas!

Thanks for the encouragement! I'm 13 and have only been flourishing for a short amount of time so hopefully my moves will become more polished in the future.

Your hands must be super cold. I know this feeling. I cant really play with cards outside in winter in more than 10 minutes

I loved it man. I know how hard it can be to work with cards (or anything for that matter) in the cold, but you did an impressive job. The shots of the ice/snow and the few of you warming your hands really add to the creativity of this, at least in my opinion. And the music only makes everything better. Beautiful vid and great flourishing (I loved to the snap change at the end, by the way)!

5/5, keep up the great work!

Oh, and if you don't mind me asking, where'd the music come from?

I agree with others. You have done a very good job, BUT in those conditions also, You went to a bit of effort to wish everyone a Merry Christmas....Well.....Merry Christmas David and keep up the flourishes. I can tell you have put in the practice. 5/5

Hmm....You are obliviously a beginner, so I'll give you some pointers:

-The camera work was nice, and the editing was above average. The film over all looked good. :)
-The moves require creativity, which will come with time. In my opinion, around 1/3 or so of the moves should be self created for a good video. Since your new, I won't criticize you for this, but consider it in the future.
-The video was sped up, and quite poorly too. That's something than CANNOT happen in a carditry video. Ex. The molecule at 1:43. :S If your speed isn't where you want it, don't resort to that.
-It was choppy, but that's only to be expected at your skill level. After a while, you'll get your "feel" for cards, which happens at around a year flourishing, things will be alot smoother. For now, practice slowly and smoothly, so there are no choppy actions, and speed will gradually come to you.

-There are no credits, which is an essential part of a video. Credit your moves, ideas and inspirations.
-The setting was nice, and I know how hard it is to manipulate in that freezing cold. :P
-I liked the music, and, unlike others, thought it fit the video well.
-The choice of cards was nice. There's just something amazing about studs and snow, as Allan demonstrates in "Snow".

Overall, I gave this video a 3/5, but just because of the standards already set. Practice, create and learn, then come back and amaze us! :)

Editing is a crucial part of a video (I even said it was good), and I said plenty about the moves in the comment above the one you replied to. :)

I like the idea of the video, i was planning on doing a snow video myself, but i see you've beaten me to it :) The speeding up and smoothness comments have already been said, so i wont go into that. You're pretty good for a beginner, how long have you been flourishing? You perform the moves pretty well, especially in snow. Also, since you're new, people can't really expect you to have a load of original material. However, you should probably vary it a little bit. It seemed like the vast majority of the material was from the system or trilogy. You might want to go into other people's work, instead of making pretty much an ad video for dan and dave

3/5 the video was grweat your flourishes were fast and Im surprised you ddi them so fast considering the tempature. However you sped them up, so i am ashamed, and It might have been me but I think I saw you use your stomach. Fix this

I tried flourishing while it was snowing and let me say, I almost losta deck of black tally ho's and guardians. It makes you go slower but the background looks great.

Increase your speed, but not by video editing.

I agree completely. It's one thing to speed up a video in order to appear faster than what you really are. But that wasn't what was being done in this case, so I think it was more than fine. Added a nice bit of effect, in my opinion.

I enjoyed it a lot, but the speeding up didn't go with the theme. I could understand a lot of situations where you would use speeding up but a snow video isn't one of them.

I really like it, and I send major kudos to you for doing it in 15 degree weather. It got to a wind chill of about 25 degrees here where I live and I found it too miserable to record a whole lot, so yeah, fantastic job dude, keep it up.

i loved this video because of the snow!

but i hated the complete lack of originality and the speed up and the lack of credits!

but then you did a snap change to a "merry christmas" and it made my grinch heart grow in size - 5/5 stars for that!!!
