boring, I can't watch it with audio so I kind of want to see something... nope... also, why in the hell does EVERY official theory 11 video have to be filmed like it's micheal j fox holding the camera on the back of a drunken seal during an earthquake? and keeps switching to a side view every 5 seconds? is this to make it more "gritty" or something? it's annoying!!!! have you guys ever heard of tripods?

It's always nice to hear anecdotes from magicians who've been in the biz for a while. I feel like I can get an understanding of how the thinking process works when creating effects. Shane K.

Trashmanf, Most videos are in fact boring when you watch them without audio. Especially interviews. It's not everyday that we get to hear stories of how the most successful magician of all time (DC)'s creative team innovates, and Chris is a rare breed of creative that-- like Bich-- thinks on another level. Even while knowing Chris for a long time, I still love hearing stories like this one to get a glimpse into his creation process and how things have evolved. // jb.

I completely Agree because I really enjoyed this video, especially because Chris also has a good sense of humor, I'd like these stories too, you guys should put up more of these.

just to make u wonder...how many cards did Chirs use to invent hjs method of TnR?

Steve Simmons

Hmm...but you gotta think. With Chris creating Torn Asunder...that basically set the bar for all other tnr card routines. Without it, we might still very well be idling in the days when a torn card was put back together under a silk! LOL!

You spent 6 months eveyday working on the effect for David Copperfield? Man, how do your days go by so fast? LOL shooting_rubber

I watched the trick, in some ways it's even better than this TnR like the fact that he shows the face of the card with the signature, PS Hope you didn't practice on Jerry's lol by the way I am really excited about the Release, although I want to hear the reviews first

Awesome video Chris! I have no idea how any torn and restored card effect is done (as I do not own any of the torn and restored card effects out there.....yet!) By the way, I can still remember watching DC on T.V. back in the day when he performed your Torn Asunder, and I remembered thinking that was definitely one of the coolest things I had ever seen on T.V.! Very intriguing......can't wait for the TNR release!!!

It's David Copperfield's amazing torn and restored Honus Wagner baseball card effect, created by Kenner himself.

Chris, I remember watching Mr. Copperfield's specials on T.V. every year, just my mom and I . Your piece with the Honus Wagner baseball card was trully a masterful and Magikal work of creative genious, wich I will forthright inspire twards with my magikal presentations and slight of hand. Thank you for inspiring me to think outside of the proverbial magik box... Is that a "stuffed beaver?" Taxidermy... nice... your beaver looks angry, looks like its gonna start thumping its tail and jump on someone. That beaver is bigger than my cat, if your Beaver and my cat got into a fight, I have a feeling my cat would lose... my poor helpless kitty... He/she "it" ummm, can I ride you Beaver? Chris has a "Magic Beaver" that comes to life at night and rampages through the house... =-) Your Beaver scares me... musn't pet the Beaver, afraid so afraid it's gonna eat me... OH NO!

You're afraid the Beaver will eat YOU? . . . Say no more, SAY NO MORE. Now if only I could find my blind, Siamese, bat. Chris, can I ask about that rumour that the tape you sent DC for the final method of TA, when he watched, he loved it, and kept rewinding it trying to imagine how it was done, and eventually called you with no clue as to the workings, and it turned out that you had also recorded the method on that same tape. So if he had only kept watching instead of re watching, he would have seem the method? Is there any truth to this rumour? I always loved that story when I heard it. Makes me not feel so bad when I' looking for something that's in my own hand, lol, and yes, I have actually done that, and I was holding onto the very thing I was looking for. Mind you, as soon as I find it, I start looking for something else, and mis pace the first item again. I am terribly forgetf . . . what was I saying?

This is a great vid... I love hearing Artist's passion for their craft. Also, his watch looks pretty sweet.
