I have a question. During the intial flourish, I don't see how you finish holding the card. I got the initial 360 spin and wrist rotation. When I spin it back 180 and turn my wrist upright, the corner opposite the one held by my middle finger (along the short edge) is sitting just below the first knuckle of my middle finger; high center in my palm. Here's where I get stuck. When you show this, at speed, you don't end up holding the top corner with your index finger any more. How do you clip the cards against the heal of your thumb without: a) letting go with the thumb, b)the middle finger losing its pivot point and sliding up the long edge of the cards, and c) springing the cards out of your grip completely?

Real fun to see the actual method. I figured out my own handling after wathing it in Trilogy but it is as fast as that one and ends exactly the same. But thanks!

This was crap. I hate exposure videos! I'm lying actually. For 2 reasons. reason one, it's not on youtube you magic killings *******! reason two it actually shows that theory11.com is actually trying to expand the art of magic and in this case ITS ON THE HOUSE! never would have imagined you guys do care so much at first i thought it was a ploy to get more magicians to buy stuff from you instead of e. everyone that is part of this site is awesome, and I'm not just talking about the artists, the members that contribute positive feedback to the forums as well.

Hey that's great guys. Just an idea, you should stick this on the 1 on 1 section of the site (keeping it free of course) as a 'sample' of the 1:1 vids. j

Well the thing is Keeper, that you release your thumb just as you clip the cards between your middle finger and the base of your thumb, because the next movement requiers you index finger and your thumb to pinch the card just above the index finger. I suggest you wach the spin technique in slowmotion a couple of times and you'll get it.

Nice that you released the correction. I guess everyone who has The Trilogy figured out the correct way on their own though :) Anyways I thought the filming was very amateur, the guy kept zooming in and out every few seconds and the camera kept moving around. You might wanna consider making these a bit more professional. Then again, I don't know how the other 1-on-1's are, but watch this again and keep an eye on the camera movement, almost makes you dizzy. Cheers // Thanks to all the fan boys who are going to neg-rep me because of this comment.

Somehow, confusion from previous DVD's helped me understand when watching the trilogy. That says a lot about the teaching Dan and Dave provide (just in case, NO sarcasm in that statement). When starting cardistry, local magicians warned not to start with their stuff. Working a year with basic DVD's produced great results. One of those results is an acceptable learning curve for the "knucklebusters". Having started with other stuff first, something made this work. The results experienced from the Jones change on the DVD are the same for this video. To clarify a point about the stuff Dan and Dave do, most do not consider it "beginner" stuff. That is not an insult in anyway to their teaching, their style, or their skill. Everyone else on here may be a Dan and Dave genius. Being a mere mortal, three months practice of any move of theirs makes public showing of that move look professional. For those of you that get it in a month, outstanding. The last point directly related to the video. Occasionally, found in amateur chatrooms or at local shops are off color remarks. Something to the tune of Dan and Dave MegaBucks (or variations). They made a mistake on the DVD (potentially), and gave away the fix. Quality that gets a fix when needed, is worth more than garbage for a discount. Dan and Dave, thanks for your time.
