Just stating the obvious, but you seem to be very heavily influenced by jeff mcbride. the good part is that you do the material extremely well. the only negative is that it lacks originality. still, kudos for the skill 5/5

This is, by far, one of the best, most perfect routines for manipulation anyone has thought up.
Jeff McBride would have a run for his money. Entertaining, fast, impressive.
5/5. no doubt.

What Is the song called?
Allan Hagen replies: (Score: 0) 170 days ago
"Requiem for a tower", by Clint Mansell, but you'll also find it under "Requiem for a Dream theme" or whatever. Just get the motion picture soundtrack of Requiem for a Dream

Good song- I personally think it's overplayed, ('cause it was in a movie trailer or something like that...) BUT- the song fit your performance perfectly... What can I say? 5 out of 5's across the board... Well done.
Allan Hagen replies: (Score: 0) 170 days ago
Nah, it's from one of the best films ever - Requiem for a Dream, but true, Clint Mansell did compose a special version of it for the LOTR:TTT trailer, which is the overplayed version. It was also featured at the end of Smokin' Aces, in a bit more "electrical" version.

Other than that, amazing.

Silk grab and transformation 9/10 A tiny bit obvious about grabbing the silk

I thought the performance was excellent. Others have mentioned the silk grab as a little sketchy, but the transformation into the cane I think makes up for it. But that's just my opinion.

You seemed a little uncomfortable up there. I'm sure you were nervous but it looked like you rehearsed someone elses movements. It seemed unnatural and forced.
Don't get me wrong your card work was phenominal! I'm speaking of the movement of the rest of your body. Very few people can really sell the flashy/cheesey magician "dance around". How can you make your "choreography" more natural for yourself and still keep it showy?
You're card manipulation is fantastic though!

Cheers!
