Patrick,

That was pretty good. Great reaction, and great idea to have the spec call a friend and invest the effort into the effect. It was all direct and simple which was good. Just one thing i would have done differently is to have built up a little more suspense before turning the card over.

Other than that, for a casual performance, it was great. Good job.

I had almost that IDENTICAL THING happen to me once. I did the phone call routine, and the reaction was "Oh HEEEELLLL NOOO"

Hahhaha

Well done.

hahah, I love the Jurassic 5 in the background, and the reactions was hilarious. Work on your patter and routine though, it looked winged, but that could be me.

Also, let them hold the deck, and when you reveal the face down card, take it away fro the rest of the cards. It's a clean effect, so be as clean as possible.

This is a perfect example of using the Invisible Deck. This is a hard hitting trick and when respected properly, you will pull all the Juice out of it you can.

You took your time and built up the suspense. You made it impossible for those around and at the end, you astonished them with a MIRACLE.

Great job. This is how we all need to use our weapons.

Seen the video before on you tube.Great reaction, but yeah, reaveal shoul of been done a little slower.See,this difference with mine is a present it as a mentalism effect and you performed it as a magic effect. But with that being said, that was probably one of the strongest ways to present it in that genre.

Great implementing of the phone. The only thing thing, you could of build up the reveal of the ace of hearts, but solid performance though keep up the good work :)

Great reactions. Good Job. One thing I would have done differently however is to let the spectator take the card out, instead of revealing it yourself.

Very good.
One thing though.
When you have an audience with such high energy (hence the guy running around saying "HELLLL NO!!!!" lol), have fun with them. Be energetic along with them. I don't know if that's your style, but try it out, you may like it. Awesome job though man!

what if, (now this is only if the persons phone can take and send videos) after she said the card you told her to remember it and that she would get a video text message in a few minutes. the guy hangs up and before you take the cards out or get them back from the guy, you tell him to start video tapeing and have him video you opening the deck and showing the ace of hearts upside down. just a thought so she doesnt think its everyone fakeing.

i also just thought that she might, if you do what i just said, think that you flipped it over before the vid started, you can show the whole deck face up then square it up, do some kind of magical gesture and spread back through to show that it is the only one face down.

so if you do that, they dont think that everyone is acting and they have a little video to remeber it by!!
