I love how the other magic sites are now copying the out of focus trailers by T11. T11 is never to be out done and man, here's more proof. I own every deck T11 has put out (except the white centurions *boo hoo*) and these will be added to my collection (hopefully) very shortly. I'll be there at 8am my time - hope to get in while the gettin's good!
This is just silly. Useless hype. There was no reason to post this. We get it, they're coming out friday. Honestly, you do this with every single product you ever put out, and it's more annoying that anything at this point.
Come on, calm down. If you know, that this will contain not much new information (I think that this video actually did), then why did you watch it? And did watching it cause you any harm? I don't think so. So, what is the problem?
I'm actually rather calm at the moment. There was very little hostility in that comment. I clicked on it from the front page. I saw the logo, and assumed it was outtakes from Expose. I'll admit that this showed more than the rest of these videos that they usually do, but that doesn't mean it wasn't trivial hype.
Okay, I understand. I'm just surprised, that on YouTube all of Theory's teasers and first glimpses have more dislikes than likes, and everybody is commenting about why Theory makes such nonsense videos. I admit that they are partly true, but at least these teasers do their purposes - they tease us. :)
There's a reason why the pre-release decks sold out in <6 minutes on the 31st, and it's not just trusting theory11 to make a good deck. As unnecessary as this hype video may seem to you, it actually is a decent marketing move.
My two cents anyway.
