What doesn't seem practical is changing a card into some other random card, so to make this practical, change a card into a selection, thumb off the selection to the person viewing, and ditch the other card while doing so. :)

Since when is doing a flat palm original? Please for the love of Bob Stencil, build up a good solid knowledge base instead of creating things that have already been published way before your time.
