Not too original. The vanish is almost exactly like Daniel Madison's half vanish.

You are very much jumping the gun with your comment. They are not "almost exactly" like each other. Learn it before you make these comments =)

@2Legt2Quit & cwr15, Okay. Both of you are just being idiots acting to be knowledgeable. First of alll, 80% of Daniel Madison's stuff isn't even his to credit. Especially that half vanish thing you mentioned. Second, BOTH ARE DIFFERENT METHODS. Don't assume anything when you don't even know the techniques to the move. Also, "just another color change." More like just another "card trick." If you don't like it, then how about make something of your own. Tony is just making a contribution. What are you doing? Just *****ing. I don't even know why Tony is working with Theory11. A lot of people just take **** without considering its true value. Tony, go back to VanishingInc, please. Where your work will truly be appreciated.

Woah there guys - time out here for a sec. 2L2Q - this change is entirely different from Madison's and bears no real similarity in mechanics or aesthetic. I trust that upon closer examination of the true technique Tony has created, you will agree. Eddie, while you are 100% correct in verifying the originality of Tony's change, this should still be done in a professional, respectful manner. I found your comments a bit disrespectful, as one cannot reasonably judge our entire community of 15,000+ members on a single factually incorrect media section post. Regarding appreciation of one's work - what you responded to was a single negative comment in a sea of 15+ full of glowing praise. Tony is a beast. We all make mistakes and are wrong from time to time, and as a community we must be there to help eachother learn facts from fiction (as you did in this case). But because this is such a small industry, it's important that we stay positive and professional and respectful at all times.

I agree with 2 Legit that this is not that good. It is just another color change. The vanish looks really good, but I am not too fond of the color change. It is, again, just another color change

Geez, do we really need ANOTHER color change? Sure it looks cool, but so do the other one-hundred color changes already available...

What a lot of you are forgetting is that, what is shown in the demo, is just a small part of what you will be learning. The way Tony explains things has an enormous amount of wisdom that will benefit all card magicians. In addition, the moves required for this have a lot of applications if done correctly. Visit his blog and watch his videos if you are unsure.

I don't see why the hell people are complaning, it's a beautiful change and they're not forcing you to buy it so what's the problem?

The pinky move taught in this is slower, more difficult, and involves more movement than a much older and simpler move that can be done with the middle finger. Both moves accomplish the same thing, the latter is faster and most people already know it. I would say that this color change looks beautiful regardless of the "get-ready" that you choose to use, but I wonder what Tony's justification is for doing it the harder way...

haha..this is hilarious. I state my opinion, and these are some of the responses that I get. You can definitely tell that we are magicians. Egotistical and stubborn. So funny

To answer several of yours questions, the problem is that Theory 11 (Which I think is a great company for the most part) keeps trying to sell the people here a bunch of little moves or color changes for $5+, and they are not introducing this new audience to the REALLY good stuff. Instead they know that "Visual will sell well," so thats what they decide to sell on some of these instant downloads. It's frustrating to say the least. And btw, I DO think the change looks really good, so I'm not hating, I just don't agree with Theory 11's selection of material to make 1-on-1's with. I mean, how about a 1-on-1 with several good, practical card effects/routines, and give people really great value for their money? I guess I'm not in charge, but that's what I would like to see more of.

Mayniac - appreciate your feedback, but I don't think your assessment matches up with the reality of the state of our 1-on-1 library. The vast majority of that content is composed of professional grade tricks and routines - cards and coins. To date, we have approximate 100+ 1-on-1's from 20 leading artists. Because we must at all times appeal to a wide range of ability levels and interests, each week's selection will not always appeal to all members. That said, we do try our damndest to keep things exciting. In the past month alone, we've released three 1-on-1's that would fit the bill for exactly what you say you'd hope to see. We released a 38 minute, extremely detailed feature by Jason England on the Double Lift - proper technique - with 5 variations for less than $7. We released a 35 minute video on the Zarrow Shuffle, with personal permission from David Ben and Meir Yedid. And we released a video of the essential Card to Mouth routine that is a staple in the act of many working professionals. I would call that a great month of truly invaluable, quality instruction at a ridiculously low price. Of course, we do look for visual material, but that is because that is the material that often gets the best reactions and impact from audiences - both in coin and card magic. Above all else, though, we do appreciate all feedback - constructive criticism especially - and would be extremely thankful for any specific 1-on-1 recommendations you would suggest in the dedicated forum thread devoted to requests here (http://bit.ly/aQ32bi). Once again, appreciate your feedback and thanks for chiming it - we soak in all feedback and we take all comments into account.

Thanks JB! I definitely see what you're talking about. Different people like different things, and I should've realized that. Thanks for letting me understand your side of the story.
