CCC2009 - Colors

I think the answer to the frequent question "why the low rating?" can be answered quite simply. Some contestants are hoping that with a lower rating, the judges will overlook submissions, as they didn't fully read the rules of the 09 CCC. Although I hate to believe this, my evidence is that not one person has commented anything negative. If they are going to rate it low, 85% of the people on this forum ALWAYS say WHY the video was horrible. About the video guys? That was amazing. Some of the most original and awesome moves I've seen in a while. Great job.

I completely disagree. It's a cardistry video, it's about the moves, the fact anyone showed their face at all I think is a big plus, but not at all a requirement. It shouldn't be about laypeople, it shouldn't be about how they're dressed, it should be the about cardistry, as it was for a cardistry contest, and what it was going for rapes. None of the other vids submitted for this contest were anywhere close to this caliber. I don't get what your talking about, how is this at all similar to a regular cardistry video? I'm sure most people think panning-shots from long away completely ruin a video and have nothing to do with cardistry, which was what many of the top rated submissions (?) were about. Who cares about a rating anyways? Anyone that knows what cardistry is about knows this vid kicks ass. -sean
