Cherry control did not flow well, but at least you didn't flash. The change itself was pretty good as well but the thing is... you should stay at one angle if you want to do an effect ESPECIALLY for a camera. You just turned and then did a change and turned back... that will cause a lot of suspicion.

Thanks for the NICE comments guys! Dizzi: Yes, that's the Cherry Control. Eddie: When I perform this dhange in real life I have to move my body to not flash. It's hard to do magic and just stand still, even harder on video when you can't have the spectator move/stand in the right position. Thanks.

Hi Marcus, Good work on the change! I do somewhat agree with Eddie's comment however, as I think certain issues needed to be resolved before filming (such as smoothening out the Cherry Control and not turning the body during the Polaroid Change). But other than that, I thought it was a very good performance; overall your handling has a nice calm pace, and it's very pleasing to watch. :) Can't wait to see more, Jordan

You can learn the Polaroid Change here at theory11 if you look at the 1-on-1 section. And the Cherry Control can be found in Penumbra Magazine Issue #5 Issue Five-January/February 2003. Tack! -Marcus

Do you use the same method for the real way to do it? I say the real way because you said that it's your take on it. Still, I must buy this now! Very smooth! I will be sure to study your handlwork! 5/5

his was rather nice. the only thing i'm not overly fond of is the random fanning for the control (I'm assuming its part of the cherry control as I'm not actually familiar with the technique). but the change was very smooth. Now do you do the change any differently from the origional or is your take just the control to change effect? Thanks, Matt

Hi Matt, Yeah, the fan is part of the Cherry Control, and I know it wasn't the best fan. It's the same techniquea as b.smith's, the only thing I mean by "my take on the Polaroid Change" is that I mixed together a control and the change and made a routine out of it, not anything special about it. Anyway thanks for the kind words too. =) -Marcus
