I understand your point. But isnt magic about trying to make something different. Who's ever had a promo gurl before? yno? its origional, and i wish some magicians would try come up with new selling tactics etc. If we were all putting new ideas out there, rather than following this same old mystical magician image then we would have soo many new faces on the scene. Melissa Gresswell is her name, & shes more of a "business partner" because she does the filming, helps me develop ideas, funds projects, promotes me, and comes around to gigs selling my pre-released DVD. Shes like my assistant, but without sawing her in half haha! Im not neccessarily saying i am in it for the money/gurls, but dammmnn its a bonus. ;) I think ive tried alot of different promotional representations of myself, and they have all changed year in year out, so hey, next year i may be completely different. Annnndddd! these 15-18 year olds are fan base material ;) which means everytime i release a product, there going to goo crazy for it! :) Believe it or not i really have thought about this. Yeah Dynamo has given me alot of inspiration. This video only shows a fraction of the stuff i do, and fair enuf some is similar to his, but i cant help that. And i cant help that we happen to be going through the same medium, e.g nightclubs. Im just documenting what im doing, not trying to be the next dynamo. The DVD is a showreel of what ive been upto the last couple of years. Where ive been and what ive done. Its not aimed at magicians, its aimed at my fans on myspace etc. Because to them it is entertaining... Im sure u understand that. "and those videos are out there, unfortunately they dont get as much credit as you."

I will be perfectly honest, i was expecting a barrage of insults and aggression, but i am positively surprised by your reply, and respect you moreso for it. You do have what these companies are looking for, ur a lads magician, the type who can perform to a group of hooligans on a premiership sunday and pull it off, in that sense you are unique. An you are right, ur still young, there is far too much pressure on originality these days, so do what you feel comfortable with, since you are very good at it. Best of luck to you mate, you are onto something, and the attention you are getting from the media at such a youg age paints a very bright future for you. But im sorry, it just doesnt impress me.

"ur a lads magician" I soely agree with you on that statement. I think thats whats 'hot' at the moment with media and all. We're the MTV generation so things have to be fast paced and bouncy all the time, i think thats why old style magicians are dying out (media wise) - as someone commented on one of my youtube videos, the shuffling just adds another dimension of entertainment to it. I think thats why dynamo broke through so soon with the breakdancing - adding yet another commercial dimension. I cant wait to see how things develop in the magic scene. Especially trick wise, with technology and all ;p Thank u soo much for the kind words and i completly accept your opinion. Maybe one day we will have a session and we can take somthin from eachother!
