Sweetness! I loved the extremely abnormally long analogy in the middle of this video. It made me laugh out loud. Looking forward to this.

very cool effect! If you are doing with a fresh deck. I don't see how an effect that makes you go into a 2nd card effect with 50 cards is a good opener. In my case, perfect opener so far is still easy money/prophet. For a one-off wham-bam, i have to admit the change is visual.

Wayne you are way too funny to be normal. Anyway Believe looks absolutely awesome and one of those effects you can present the way you want to.

anyway, doesnt show how he switches the card, the video is too edited, the piece on the table doesnt change, it moves, and its probably gimmicked, i just dont like it sorry... ill stick to something with spec involvement, as a quick opener... :)

This doesn't have spec involvement? Them selecting a card, signing it... BELIEVING the other card is theirs. And yes, every once in a while the piece will move when you do the change, but most of the time it won't. It's not gimmicked at all, either.

I hoped this effect is priced reasonably. Also in my humble opinion, T11 should not have shown this video cuz for folks who know sleight-of-hand, 50% of the method is already revealed in this video. Gimmick or not, will adopt a wait-and-see for this one.

hmmm, I'm more interested in this a lot more than I was with the first trailer. The first time, I was just like, I don't think this trick is theory11 material but once I heard the whole routine, then I was attatched.

yeah... i agree with james I hope this turns out to be an ungimmicked trick =D if it is, this would be a definite buy, but if not, i would still want to buy it, but im not a very gimmicky person =P but its looks so good so far!

Honestly, I came up with the same effect, actually a year ago. Same change, everything. The only difference is the corner is signed. How dare he :P.

Discussing possible methods is unethical in my opinion. Some may disagree but I would suggest not doing it and showing a bit of respect to Joel for sharing his creativity with the community. Joel: It looks incredible man I am completely amazed. I would agree it is a great opener because it is a quick effect with incredible impact. As to debate about tearing a card in the opener and not having a full deck for the rest of your set? Do you really think your spec cares if you have a full deck? Half the time I am missing at least 3-4 cards from a deck from a previous trick anyways where I gave away a signed card or tore a card. I am not going to throw out an entire deck just because there are a few cards missing.

I'd prefer Lee Asher's "Duce bag". and Joel talks too much about random stuff that doesn't make any sense, just perform your tricks for god sake!! You don't have to talk for hours about all that theory stuff. It seemed like hype to me. Plus I still think the name is absolute crap.
