I'm going to post something intelligent unlike the posts above mine. This doesn't excite me that much. I'm imagining a piece of a card is torn off. That piece changes as well as the rest of the card so they match up.

EDIT: My post didn't appear quickly enough. SOME posts above mine are intelligent.

Well guys, think about it - the piece seems to match up to the ripped corner EXACTLY. What we can assume is that you rip a corner off and set it down, wave your hand over it, and that same corner changes into a different card's corner. Same tears and all. Had it just been another rip, feh. But if you can turn the card over and it's the old card, and the new corner fits it perfectly, that's actually pretty cool.

I know this isn't exactly dramatically innovative, but it's a step in the right direction. Card magic is so stale right now.

Congratulations, I wish I thought of this. The plot is unlike anything I have seen before. I have been racking my brain lately to come up with new concepts that I have never seen before, this to me broke through the barrier I was looking for. I would love to hear the concepts you came up with before the lead to this effect. If you don't do tell. I don't know if anyone else noticed this, it's a signed card.
Mitch.Conroy says: (Score: 0) 2 months ago
It would be nice to finish this with some kind of TnR. Fuse the original card with the changed corner. Then hand it to the spectator as a souvenir.

The brain is going nuts, here.

Awesome effect!

Kevin Parker's Cornered would do just that, but I imagine the card laying face down that you've ripped the corner from will change also.

maybe the spec selects a card....8 of hearts..then you find the selection but you actually fail and you take out a JS as thinking that this is their selection...you rip the corner and then you take that little tiny piece and change it....and then you show the card....and that card changes into their selection too.=) I ''BELIEVE'' that this is how is it going to work =)

It's like Bam, release, Bam, release. I'm glad there's no holding back.

This trick looks interesting.
How can we criticize when we don't even know the whole trick is?
Try not to be so harsh.
What if he puts a card down on the table, tears a corner off, changes it into a thought of card?
That would be insane, and you all would make comments like it's not that great.
Lets not judge before we get the 411.

I am honestly not all that excited about this release. It has to do with the fact that it is yet another card trick. I am not a fan of card tricks, as most are difficult for me to preform (I am a girl, so I obviously have smaller hands). I love other kinds of tricks, such as CONTROL, Stigmata and others. I just love the concept of manipulating everyday objects (a simple trick, for example, would be Healed and Sealed). It is dissapointing to see T11 release so many card tricks, and very few tricks in other catagories. I know that T11 is relativly new, but I'd love to see a wide range in magic tricks on the site.
