Wow! Looks pretty nice. :) I'm curious what cards have to do with the effect though. I have seen the hidden picture of you holding a deck of (I think) Guardians and I saw it in the teaser for a split second. I'm interested in this effect. It sounds good. :) Hopefully we will be getting it late march to mid April, however I'm counting on late April as the actual release. I look forward to finding out more details about the effect. :)

That looks pretty sweet.

Gimmick or not, IF this works for other country's currency (size of the different bills), i WILL get it in a heartbeat.....that's a pretty big IF

Jakeh

That looks fantastic.. but I bet it wont work my Aussie currency.

Andrei

I always pictured bill changes to look exactly like that. You do exactly what you say you're going to do with no funny moves whatsoever. Pure magic Mr. Isaacson, I love it.

Man this looks sweet... but I wonder how this compares to Richard Sanders' Extreme Burn. They look almost identical, except this one seems to need a moment of cover. Huron Low

Gatitoxxx

Agreed. I saw this before I saw Sander's thing. People do come up with the same ideas sometimes so I do not fault anyone. But hey, who knows they may be worlds apart. Great job for both though, ridiculously visual.

Jeff

I thought about this as well. Let's see if this can use 'any currency' like Extreme Burn.

looks great ,is really grainy video, like in or what! love to see the promo in real time .

Dex

I agree with Huron, even though I can't see much of this effect, Richard Sander's version looks better for the same change. But I'll wait until I see more to really judge.

Gr. Theory11 keeps suprising us with new mindblowing tricks and when by B-day comes, i cant decide which one to buy :d. Looking forward to this trick, looks awsome.

I'm willing to bet it's gimmicked to the teeth.

Deryn

gimmicked to the teeth? did you mean "to the T"?

mattjones

No way that's impromptu... No. Way.

phrozunsun

Neat trick, yet I have a feeling it's gimmicked. The question is "is the gimmick practical". It very well could be. next, I want to day that "flinch" IS a pretty "strange motion", contrary to what the description says. That just may be the take they used though. Still though, this looks like a neat trick, and I can't wait to pick it up.

elementalconjurer

very nice. if its as good as i think it will be, i will have another trick on my hands

Looks pretty good, but I would like to know how it compares to other money tricks like Gregory Wilson's Hundy 500

Loki

Will it work on foreign money ?

wilfred

i know it's just a teaser, but still. There's way too much editing, especially the moment the "magic" happens.

god this looks amazing! for a split seconed there i thought i had him but then i read the desription NO FOLDING that just stumped me :D some people are saying that it is like extreame burn but the t11 crew seem to really really like this one so maybe there is more to meet the eyes with this.

VagueTheory

This is Hundy 500. ON STEROIDS!!!

I am still leaning towards Extreme Burn by Richard Sanders.

dummyisdumb

Agreed. It's way more visual.

nay_chandler1

Can Prophet be done with vanadian currency

bugjack

Sorry, but I was really disappointed with this demo. "Extreme Burn" is out there right now, everybody's liking it, and the demo shows a lot more. With this demo you get the same kind of reactions and Vegas location shots found in the other T11 demos (which, honestly, are feeling pretty repetitive) and only the smallest amount of footage relating to the effect. I'm probably going to pick up "Extreme Burn" but waited until this demo came out to see if I should hold on for this instead. On the basis of it, I think I'll just go ahead with the Sanders effect.

after sanders' extreme burn and hieny 500 this release seems ill timed, the changes in extreme burn look much much better with no wrist kill to cover the motion. you could do a chnage with the easy money gimmick used in other efftects without neededing to be told how but its not as good. the only thing that might save this effect is a hope that is does not use the easy money gimmick or is somehow impromptu not sure how carry 500 dollars for a effect is impromtu though =D

Many of the other handlings are indeed done unfolded including extreme burn. and many of the older handlings. so tell me again what sets this apart of the rest other then fanboy hero worship with no substance that plagues this site

Looks good, but I think I'll stick with Extreme Burn.

I had the pleasure of seeing this effect when Tom first put it on video for my feedback. It looked like a camera trick it was so good. When Tom came to the east coast a few weeks later he showed me in person and it blew me away. It is my favorite effect now. I have seen many versions and this one is simply the best IMHO. I turn Ones into Twentys, becaue its safer in a dark night club (I don't feel like getting robbed again, but thats another story.) Looking forward to seeing more!

confused.... lol i thinkin extremem burn. but i hate bill switches...i LOVE the effect...but i hate gimmicks...with a passioin...except for a select few...svengali decks, gaff decks (only when done well) and occassional **** like self tyin shoelace. i hate carryin things in my pockets or riggin clothes and with some bill switches u have gaffed money...hate that cuz you cant hand it out for inspection. jus another thing to carry in your pocket. there are all sorts of changes that come with extreme burn. HOWEVER if this is no gimmicks then i swear to god ima buy this...

senohpoxas88

ok to me this looks completely different than extreme burn. extremel burn there are folds. here there arent. i agree that it was edited a little to far, but it probably has to be done to cover the effect from people who are going to watch it 800 times. It is obviously going to be gimmicked or else it would of said otherwise in the trailer. the main question of this entire thing is, IS THE GIMMICK PRACTICAL? is it worth building for this effect? We'll find out soon enough, In the mean time, i wanna get Digital Dissolve.

KeenanG

Looks a bit too jumpy for me, but looks alright. Don't think I will be buying this though.

rossmarc

It's got to be afold. Sure it's not your standard "Here watch me fold the money and it changes" kind of trick, but you can see at the snap where he folds it. Same old trick, new look and faster to fool the eye.... but not mine!

Nice work Tom.

Did anyone see the youtube video before it got taken down? If that really was prophet it was way cooler than extreme burn! Hopefully we'll see more soon.
